Life Changes Us

Many of us sit back and wonder how different our life would be if....

The only problem is we can't go back. We have to take what is given to us by way of the paths, good or bad, that we have chosen.

However, childhood experiences unfortunately have had its' share of repercussions, as well.

Sexual abuse, and/or neglect in childhood, does affect the choices we make in our adult lives. The sad part is that it didn't really come to fruition until my 50's that some of the things I had done or experienced were not part of the norm.

It is also sad that so many people in the world experience some of the same things that I did and many, a lot worse than what I experienced.

It is what we do after, or realizations and acceptance of our pasts, that makes a difference on our own personal future and the future of others.

My early years as an adult and even my middle years have not been my best moments, but even out of some of my mistakes, good has come.

I love my new career as a flight attendant and want to make the rest of my life, whatever God gives me, matter. Not just to me but to others, as well. I want to make an impact on the lives of others.
